The paper characterizes the peculiarity of the present-day stage of scientific and technical progress. There had been determined the key reasons for low innovational activity of the Ukrainian enterprises. The necessity for the activization of the innovational activity in Ukraine had been backgrounded and the activities aimed at its development had been suggested.
