На основі сучасних методологічних підходів, аналізу опублікованих джерел досліджено соціальне становище та позиції літературно-мистецької інтелігенції в умовах політики українізації, специфіка її взаємовідносин з радянською владою, прояви опору діячів літератури становленню тоталітарної системи. Розкрито основні напрями професійної діяльності літературно-мистецької інтелігенції та її роль у процесі українізації.
In the article on the basis of modern methodological approaches, social position and positions of the literary-artistic intelligentsia is analysed the analysis of the published sources in the conditions of policy of ukrainization, specific of its mutual relations with soviet power, displays of resistance of figures of literature to becoming of the totalitarian system. Basic directions of professional activity of the literary-artistic intelligentsia and its role in the process of ukrainization are exposed.
